ANSWER: No problem but it would be wise to combine your missed fasts with the sunnah fasts to gain double the reward (except for Shawwal fasts)

ANSWER: Normal vaginal discharges are white and pure and do not impact wudhu. Wadi is yellow, it is impure, treated as urine, and affected areas must be washed.

QUESTION: My husband is a revert who was born from non Muslim parents who don’t practice marriages. He was born out of wedlock but his father recognized him. Is his father my mahram in a sense that I can be alone with him?

ANSWER: If he was born out of wedlock and his biological father had not married his mother, you can’t sit in front of him or be alone with him.

QUESTION: I was wondering if we could rely upon scholar ibn Taymiyyah’s statement that it’s the fathers’s choice to name his children if he and his wife are in dispute as he didn’t mention the evidence to this from either Qur’an or Hadith? And in general can we rely upon scholar’s statements even if they don’t mention the evidence to their claims?

ANSWER: The statement is 100% true. It is the sole right of the father to name his children as they would be carrying his name.

QUESTION: Sheikh, there’s a hadith which is as follows:”When authority is given to those who do not deserve it, then wait for the Hour.”(bukhari 6496 for full hadith) what does ‘wait’ for the hour mean?

ANSWER: It means that the day of judgment is near.

QUESTION: Sheikh, I know the Prophet alaihis salatu wassalam used to start eating on the day of eid ul adha with cooked liver of the slaughtered animal. If I want to follow this sunnah, then I’ll have to wait till 3pm based on my situation. If I only drink water or have tea/coffee till that time, will it be permissible? Please advise.

ANSWER: No problem in eating normally if it is going to be that late.

QUESTION: Is saying good luck, fingers crossed shirk? Please clarify as some say that luck was something connected with Roman GOD. We say in the context that “I wish you well” and for fingers crossed -> “I hope nothing bad happens”

QUESTION: Regarding adoption of a child i want to ask , if someone is willing to give there child to his brother/sister. What’s the ruling on this?? If this happened already what the other one should do now ? Should they give there adopted child back or keep it ??

ANSWER: This is permissible and an act of kindness providing that the child keeps his father’s name and abides by the laws of sharia when it comes to issues of mahram and inheritance etc.

QUESTION: My brother is currently working in a 35-40 hour per week job but the duration of this job is 3 months. He earns 550 USD weekly. He started this job sometime in May. So, Shiekh is Qurbani valid on him this year?

QUESTION: Sheikh, I am from Pakistan and here we have a custom in marriages that on barat when groom Comes to sit with his wife, bride’s sisters blocks his way and demand for money and he sit after paying, is it permissible to do so?
