QUESTION: My bro & his wife (UAE residents) coming on tourist visa & will be staying in Jeddah for 10 days.They are also planning to perform Umrah.Is it compulsory for them to make the niyyah & enter the state of Ihram from Dubai itself & go to perform Umrah as soon as they reach Jeddah airport Or can they wear the Ihram and make the niyyah for Umrah from my home in Jeddah after 2 – 3 days of their arrival?

ANSWER: They can’t wear the Ihram from Jeddah as they came from dubai with the intention to make umrah They must either perform Ihram on the plane or come and stay in Jeddah and whenever they want to go for umrah, them must go to Taif and make their Ihram from their designated meeqat.

ANSWER: This is totally prohibited! You must put your foot down and never come in front of him like this and never be alone with him in the house. He is obliged to provide you with a separate house. If he doesn’t do that, you are better off leaving him before you conceive from him!
