ANSWER: No! Your father is your wali (guardian) who would give you away in marriage and he can’t be a witness and women can’t be witnesses in nikah You must choose any two muslim males as witnesses

QUESTION: In india , a video showed a groom stating during his nikha ceremony that he is adding a share of his lifelong salah (islamic prayers) to girl’s name as additional mehar(dowry), stipulating that this commitment would only end upon his death.
