I have a friend who is intending on getting married this year however he lives with his brothers and is think of getting a house on mortgage as his family is also pressurizing him. What should he do as he needs to move out and cannot afford to buy a house on cash?

I got married last year, went for honeymoon and all was fine,just after we got back, 2 months past and he never touched me, than we found out I was pregnant,hubby said no intimacy till I give birth, its now 4 and half months and nothing, do I have any islamic rights ?

You have rights but I am afraid that this is from Satan to separate you from him. It can also be due to your pregnancy. Try to talk to him without nagging or fighting to see what is putting him off you.

There was a news the Egypt’s Islamic parties are going to debate and implement a law to limit the marriage age to 14 years and to have sex with wife after her death (farewell sex) in their Constitution. Is it islamic or their tradition?

Going through the internet for such a topic is forbidden. There are islamic books about this subject which bring evidences from the sunnah also.

I need to clarify a situation where a husband wants to have an intercourse but the wife dose not allow because she says she gets hurt.

A sister asked her husband for a divorce, but told him to give her a talaq because she feared requesting a khul’ah due to ahadith about it. He agreed. Someone told her that this still counts as a khul’ah, what do you say? She wanted out, asked for a divorce, and he gave it to her.

I don’t know what is the hadeeth regarding Khul’u which she had heard. As for her case, if she requested divorce and he gave her divorce without any financial compensation, this is divorce and not khul’u. But if the divorce was conditional and he demanded any form of payment, this is Khul’u.

For the Khulaa, is it necessary to go the Judge, or can it be dealt with between the husband and wife and thier families itself? What if they are in a non-Muslim country where no Qadhi is available?

If there isn’t any Islamic judge, the Imam of the Islamic center there can do the job. If the two agree on the terms of Khul’a without the need for a judge, this can be done in the presence of witnesses for the sake of documentation.

If he is not financially supporting her, if he is not practicing Islam or making sins that affect her or if he has characteristics that she can not live with, all these are legitimate reasons.

If a woman divorces her husband through Khula, they can later remarry (after the expiry of the Iddah), right? But can this divorcing and remarrying take place for an unlimited number of times, or is it the same as that of Talaq (divorce from the husband’s side),
