ANSWER: Everytime you enter the masjid, you must pray before sitting down, it can be any prayer, whether 2 specific rakahs of tahiyatul masjid, sunnah before the obligatory prayer or fard prayer itself. If you don’t sit down and immediately join the congregation, you don’t need to offer it.

QUESTION: We know that we can’t eat meat slaughtered by someone who doesn’t pray. I live in India. When we buy meat from a butcher we make sure he is a Muslim or eat somewhere in a restaurant it is a Muslim restaurant. But we cannot know for sure that the person slaughtering prays or not. Till what extent should we inquire. If we ask the butcher in market it might be insulting, what should be done?

QUESTION: In Surah kahf verse 63, one of the lines translate to “Indeed, I forgot the fish. And none made me forget it except the Satan-” I thought we weren’t supposed to blame Satan for anything? Cause it increases him in ego and rather we should praise Allah so he shrinks? Doesn’t that statement inflate his ego?
