ANSWER:

Imam Ghazali is not reliable to learn from as he went too deep into philosophy. 

I do not recommend to read alghazali books if you do not have knowledge; as he has a lot of mistakes in Aqeeda and he included many weak hadeeths in his books, so if you are not able to differentiate between what is correct and what is wrong then do not read his books. 

QUESTION: What should be our attitude towards Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali? He is a renowned scholar and many regard him as a mujaddid, yet he apparently was ashari and brought tasawuff/sufism to Islam?

QUESTION: I’m attending a fiqh class where the sheikh also discusses aqeedah. He says Allah is not in the sky or on the throne, and such beliefs could lead to kufr. According to him, Allah isn’t in a geographical position, as He doesn’t resemble His creation. This differs from Ahl al-Sunnah’s aqeedah. I’m unsure if I should continue, and I also invited a revert.
