There is a hadeeth which is hasan that the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said: say: Allahumma akfini bihalalika a’an haramika wa Aghnini bifadlika amman siwak. This translates to: O Allah, suffice me with your halal than that which is not permissible and enrich me with your grace than anyone else other than you.
