My father is about 62 years old. He’s still pretty strong but just needs a chair to perform Salaah. Does he too have to go to the mosque (which is 3 minutes away from our house)? He claims that walking up the stairs of the building of the house is hard

If it is too difficult for him to walk up and down the stairs, it is permissible for him to pray home but this is something only Allah knows about. Therefore, he should be told that this is between Allah and him.

Suppose I’m unable to perform my Maghrib prayer due to a very valid reason but I manage to pray it after one third of the night passes along with my Esha prayer. So would my Maghrib prayer be accpeted or would it be considered that I missed my Maghrib?

If the reason was legitimate and beyond one’s control and you couldn’t by any chance pray it on time, it is permissible to join it with Isha

Sheikh, if a person is praying without a sutra , how far away from him can I cross across him while he is praying

You shouldn’t cross between his feet and the place where he puts his forehead.

Is it true that anyone who misses his Asr prayer will have all his good deeds (including his fasts, prayers etc) cancelled?

This is not true unless he deliberately skips Asr prayer until Maghrib is due every single day. Whoever does this would lose all his good deeds.

When should a Ma’moom recite fathiha?

When the Imam finishes the Fatiha.

Is it compulsory that that we should say Aaaoodu billahil sammeil aleem mina shaiyataani rajeem before fathiha during prayer? Or is it ok if we simply start with Bismillah?

It is Sunnah but it is not part of the mandatory acts of prayer.

On joining the congregation,if the imam goes to Rukoo before completing we reciting fathiha,what should we do? Can we also go to Rukoo without completing fathiha and if so,the raka’ath will be counted?

If the Imam goes to Ruku and you don’t have time to recite the Fatiha, you should follow the Imam and the Rak’ah is counted.

How is salaah al-tawbah offered?

When a person makes a sin, he should perform wudhu and then pray two Rak’ah and then ask Allah for forgiveness. This is how it is performed.

Should I perform 2 rakkah sunnah in my home before going to jumah prayer?

There isn’t any Sunnah BEFORE Jum’ah. As for after Jum’ah, he can pray it 4 in the masjid OR 2 in the house.

While praying a 2 rakat sunnah do we only recite Surah Fathia and then only the Tashahud at the end and no daruud?! no second surah and no darud?

It is Sunnah to recite the Surah after the Fatiha and the salutation on the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam.
