Is it permissible to say “I seek your blessings” to a man (senior citizens ,elite people etc) in our day today affairs?

This is not permissible as the blessing can only be sought from Allah.

Recently I was in a shopping mall in the UK and I had just realised I had just about half an hour until Asr adhan and hadn’t done my dhur salah yet. My mother and aunty had gone off somewhere and I was alone with my freind and we are young. I could not tell the direction to pray in as the sun was blocked. What should I have done? I prayed after, is it accepted?

No, it is not! You should have asked any Muslim about the direction or any non muslim about the direction of east or north. Even if you couldn’t find anyone to tell you, you should have made your best to face what you think is the qibla and prayed before the time was over.

I keep wanting to rush knowledge, and jump from one lecture to the next, rush one book and to the next, etc. I want to get as much knowledge as possible to increase iman and refute doubts. I have no consistency. see a nice online course, I want to do it, I do part of it then move on. What advice can you give me?

I listened to the 3 parts of the Dua based video you made, and Al hamdulillah, my heart cried out knowing Allah is saving my prayers for the last day, and not that He isn’t listening. Now my doubt is this. I have been having a skin condition since birth and now its 32 years. Now when I pray I feel not very desperate to get my skin condition healed. Is this right? What must I do?

It is part of expressing your poverty and humility to Allah that you are desperate for His cure and uplifting of this illness as no one else can do that except Him. The more you are desperate on him, the greater your reward is while never giving hope in Allah till your last breath.

My adult male cousin has depression. He lives in a different country. He is the only child, his father passed away, and my dad and his mother aren’t practising to speak through them. Can I email him without cc-ing anyone else in order to give dawah (to tell him to seek Allah to find peace)? There may be an exchange of some emails if he asks some questions
