Company transfers me in bank account some money because of my visa change and I have to give that money back to them because it is mutual understanding between company and me. Unfortunately I feel I have some money with me which I didn’t pay back to company. After sometime I realized that this was company money with me then I confirm from my account department two-three times but they told me -you don’t have any balance pending. But I feel that money which is with me is company’s money.. now please tell me what to do with that money. I am worried about that.

This is not correct. He didn’t prevent Fatima from having a slave. He instructed her to what was better than that.Aisha and the rest of his wives didn’t have slaves to the best of my knowledge and if they did,,it was from their money.

In surah sajdah verse 5 it is stated that it takes 1 day equivalent to 1000 yrs for the affairs of this world to reach Allah swt…. Then are our deeds presented after 1000 years

The ayah is referring that the distance that would usually take us 1000 years to travel, things come down and go down in a short period of time.

I would like to know if it was permissible to use food items like fruits,vegetables, yogurt, etc as materials for pedicure treatment?( i.e. beauty treatment for the the feet).

If a muslim is a strong believer in Karma does this nullify their Islam. What if they believe that God causes Karma- that whatever you do to people in the life, it will be done to you in this life? I need to advise someone who is a strong believer in Karma. She is a revert from a Christian/Hindu family

Believing in Karma is against Islam as it contradicts the belief of a Muslim that Allah is the creator of all and the controller of all.

A colleague of mine made mention that as a follower of the Hanafi madhab he’s allowed to eat after the athan for Fajr just before the rise of the sun. Can Sheikh please shed light on this topic as I looked for some reading materials regarding this as we in Cape Town follow the Shafi school of thought?

No, they can’t because they are blocked by their uncles and aunts.Their grandfather can write a will and give them something.

I have a problem where i’m always doubting whether I’ve missed things in my prayer, things like the dua between the two prostrations. it got the point i’m now doing two extra prostration at the end of nearly every prayer. Is what I am doing wrong and what is the solution to this?

You should try to concentrate more in your prayer. But if you still miss things, you must prostrate for forgetfulness.

I was born into a Muslim family but I didn’t have much guidance, because my family are more cultural than Islamic. Nonetheless I found islam and I started to look into my deen half way through my degree and I became practising alhamdulillah (and this my family had problems with). But my biggest problem is that I took a loan out to fund my education. Now each day that goes by interest is being added. What do I do? I have checked the terms and conditions of the student loans and it says that if you die the government clears the debt for you. But what do I do? Do I pay it back ASAP?

You must pay off this loan ASAP and you must not take any other loan.

I live in Jeddah and came on dependent visa on my wifes job visa. I tried to find job based on my qualification (MBA-marketing from Australia), but no success because of my visa status, as i am not allowed to work. So i want to go back to India where I can easily find the job. I am also well-off with money as I receive rental income. It was my wife decision to live in Saudi with her parents and wanted to work. I want to take her back to India and she is refusing. My question is that, if I go to sharia court would they will inform the ministry to cancel her job visa and send her back with me. She said the courts here can easily nullify the marriage if the wife ask for KHULA.

I don’t believe that the court has anything to do with that as there is a contract and prior approval from you. If she is not willing to go back with you, you can divorce her and remarry a better woman or take another wife.
