my friend has divorced his wife 3 weeks ago. He has stopped staying with her in the same house. Is his divorce valid if he does not spend the iddah period with her in the same house. Is he sinning.

My father bought a flat in Pakistan when he was alive,my younger brother is jobless n lives there with his family.The flat my mom bought with our inheritance for him is in UAE where i reside,my husband doesn’t have a good job and hence we live in this flat we give a small amount as rent to the younger brother. Since my other two siblings said that it was his right as all of us thought the flat is his.Whom should we give the rent to ?

The question is not clear! The flat in Pakistan belongs to the heirs and your brother must pay rent to the rest of the heirs! The flat in UAE was bought by your mother with the money of the heirs, therefore, whoever lives in it should also give the rent to the heirs!

My father passed away leaving money which we let our mother handle.In her life she invested in a flat for young brother from that money,as he didn’t complete his education,she even spent from that money upon his education but he didn’t complete. On her deathbed she divided money left amongst all and said the flat is for younger brother.Do the rest have a share in it?

It is not permissible.

If I own a shop for repairing cars, a customer comes n gives car for repair, I chk spare parts for it. I go n buy dem, for aed 400 or 500 (in d city whr my shhop is I get dem for aed 700 so I go to another city whr dey sell in factory price of aed 400 or 500). dan I come bak n repair car also. I have labour charge, service charges, and for spare parts I charge extra aed 200 as proFit on spare parts for going and gettin dem frm far place. and also as it’s cheaper for me. what is ur verdict on this? is it wrong or right?? to charge profit on spare parts. I am a bit confused and need some help. Basically I named; Zaynab Bint Faisal Ahmed and this is now on her birth certificate. Now I was told is should have been ‘Ibnah’ and not ‘Bint’. I don’t know about other regions. A Muslim man can marry only a Muslim woman, or a Christian or a Jew while a Muslim woman can only marry a Muslim man!

my marriage has not been consummated. before the nikkah when my parents asked for whether i was in agreement with cousin, i had rejected but was pressurised to say yes. i went to pakistan and the nikkah took place. i signed the papers (with my heart content) and tried to be happy for my family. i know i will not fulfil my duty as a wife and want a divorce. family aren’t agreeing. what do i do?
