Please let me know if we are doing this good. Our son of 13 with intellectual disability is now fasting for elhemdulilah days. It starts to get really difficult for him but we tell him not to eat. Can we do this with him. He is not like another normal thinking kid.

If your son is mentally challenged and he has the brain of a child, he is not obliged to fast like adults but you may encourage him without forcing him!

As we pray taraweeh and witr in the masjid with imaam, i couldnt actually pray tahajjud after a small nap as i prayed witr with the imam. so can i have intention of praying taraweeh when the imam praying witr and after the last one rakah tashahudd can i complete it as a two rakkah taraweeh and go home and do the tahajjud and witr with my convinience?

masjids in my city, Maghrib is scheduled for 5.34pm. Around 5.35pm I thought heard adzan from afar, but not 100% sure. Probably from a distant masjid. There are 3-4 masjids nearby, but even until 5.47pm there is no sound from them. I checked many clocks and schedules. So I just broke my fast. Is it justified, what I did? If the sun had set, your action was correct. You have to make sure that your watch is not out of order as it is impossible that all masjid said don’t call for the athan!

it was about music and similar matters which the quran doesn’t have an explicit comment, but we do have direct evidence from hadhith and commentary of the Salaf regarding certain verses also agreement of vast majority of scholars. This brother questions the reliability of sources other than Quran and calls to use logic and reasoning in order to know whether sometime is good or bad. and according to him this is a commandment of Allah. We don’t need to argue with him but he is generating some following that we are worried about. So just need some evidence from quran and hadhit that forbid following one’s own logic in such matters.

You must stand up and complete the missing fourth Rakah and then offer two prostrations after Salam. If you didn’t do that, your prayer is invalid as you have dropped a pillar of prayer and you must repeat it.

In our mosque 2 imams alternately conduct taraweeh and after 20 rakaths a new imam who was praying behind in the first row conducts witr. so if I go hone after 20 rakats will I get the reward of praying the entire night?

These three imams act like one as this is one masjid. Therefore, by not praying witr with the last one, you lose the reward of praying the full night.

How to take ritual bath while fasting because I fear when that I take ritual bath especially when sniffing up water in nose and rinsing mouth and I feel water went inside my throat or may be it is whispers. If water goes inside ear canal does it break fast?

Ghusl is allowed during fasting. It is similar to wudhu! You should take care not to swallow any water. Water in the ears doesn’t break the fast

My husband and I have been married for 7 years now. We used to live together. After 5 years he got a job transfer, so we started living separatly. I am staying with his family. He usually comes after 8 to 10 months. When he came for the 1st time everything was ok and he went back again. When he came for the 2nd time, from no where I saw some text with a christian woman him having an affair. I asked for divorce but he refused and he said there is nothing going on now. I stayed because of my mother-in-law who at the same time is my grandmother, me and my husband we are related. Now he is back there again and I can see some change in him but am still worried maybe he is still cheating me. Please advise me how to control myself.

Such complications normally are seen when couples live apart. If you can somehow live with him, this will be great, however, in current situation, if you see change in him for good, you must bear patience with him and give him a chance. Make dua to Allah and seek His help and guidance.
