I wish to play basketball with friends but every member will have to pay a contribution for a pot money. The pot money will be given to the winner of the game. Is this gambling. Sometimes every member will pay for the rent of the court but i not sure about the pot money.

Brother, in school I had this Muslim friend who ended up betraying me and lying about me to others, I was in English and we have a mutual friend named Arjun who is Hindu I’m pretty sure. I would like to know the ruling on quaranic calligraphy. As I like doing it. But one of my friends told me that one must not write quranic words and verses in tge form of calligraphy as the one who does it is praised more. I am confused as they do write calligraphied version of quranic verses on kiswah .
