He should call himself after his father and family name.

Sheikh, I apologize for being questioning the same issue regarding hair dye. Sheikh I don’t understand one thing, why it was mentioned in hadith of father of Abu Bakar (RA) “Complete Hair” was white when Prophet (PBUH) told him to dye. Does it mean that reward of dying hair will be accountable when once complete hair is white?

I went to visit my brother and his family. In their local masjid some brothers get together to gain some islamic knowledge everyday after Isha. they use to read some books 1. Hayatus sahaba 2. Muntakhab ahadith by Hazrat maulana Muhammad Yousuf Kandhlavi. I would like to know whether these books are authentic? Please advise.

I haven’t read these two books but if these are the books that Tableeghi people read from, they most likely have weak narrations! It is best to read Riyadhul Saliheen.

Sheikh! Was going thru your fatwa questions here and i am actually in page 298 where it says that selling or buying cats is not allowed. Nowadays, hybrid cats are popular as pets and of course buying and selling are popular too. My brother is actually taking care of a hybrid cat which he bought from a pet shop. Did he just commit a sin? Advice please.

The idea of “Allah can lie or sleep” is preposterous and insulting to Allah! These things are impossible to happen and it is part of Allah’s majesty and might! It is like saying Allah is all living and doesn’t die but he can die! What kind of nonsense people dare to speak about Allah!

My family like me to marry someone with ‘degree, career & educated family’. My family is wealthy bi’idhnillah but I am not like my family and I feel compatible with someone simple like a Muslim working in shop. my father is not practising Shia. I was doing magrib prayer: Before thasleem i got doubt that whether 3rd rakaha or 2nd rakaha.i did thasleem .and did 2 forgetfulness sajada and thasleem again. Am i correct? And how to get rid of waswas it is disturbing me alot

If you felt that most likely you have prayed three Rakah, your prayer is valid! But if you were totally confused and was not sure or didn’t have any inclination, you must add another Rakah.

How should i sit in position between two prostrations? In your apps you described in Prophet’s Prayer it is permissible to sit on heels. But what is recommended, to sit on heels or sit on left leg and right foot is upright? What about touching both heels as you mentioned, if I touch both heels my toes no longer place in ground and state towards qibla except thumb. Suggest me what to do.

Sitting on both heels is disputed upon! The best thing is to avoid it! Not pointing the toes towards the qibla is permissible and sitting in this way is not from the sunnah but it is not prohibited either!
