This is not from the sunnah but if it takes place without any planning, such Duaa is ok in sha Allah.

In-sha-Allah within a few months I will be getting married. I would like to know if a kuthba and dua is to be delivered before the Nikha, because this is the usual practice in my place.

Sheikh I’m getting married in 2 and a half weeks. My fiancé’s grandfather died 4 days ago. I know that mourning in Islam is only 3 days, would it be appropriate to continue with the Nikah? We had planned a segregated ceremony in a hall where food would be served. Should it be toned down – Nikah in the Masjid? My parents may lose the deposit on the hall.

Shaykh in Islam what is the ruling on marrying first cousins or relatives? Is it encouraged or discouraged? You see in our communities it is seen as being a bit “odd” and so people kind of look down on you if you do that. I don’t want to go against Islam as I know many early marriages were to cousins.
