Is there anything wrong with studying sociology ?

There are many secular and atheist authors of such a science. However, if a person has a sound and strong aqeedah and knows Islam well and has a good intention for studying it, this is permissible.

I am a high school student, and it is recquired for us to do community service. I wanted to know if it is permissible to volunteer at “Holloween” or “Christmas” events merely for the purpose of getting community service hours for school?

It is not permissible.

Are statues allowed in Islam? I asked my local Imam from my Mosque nearby my house here in Holland, and he told me that statues and images are allowed as long as you don’t worship it. And Umar RA was ruling over Egypt and he did not order to destroy the statues for over 1400 years long. My Imam told me Quran 34:13 as evidence that statues (not for worship) are allowed. Is this true ?

I want to work in this field but it says that sometimes you might have to bathe patients…is there anything wrong with this?

This seems permissible as long as you treat same gender patients and their awrah is covered.

What are the issues with the Ashari creed and if imaam Ashari (may Allah have mercy on him) rejected his statements pertaining to the creed of Ashari before he died why do people who study in deobandi institutes still follow it?

I live in Canada and Halloween is approaching. People here are starting to decorate their buildings with Halloween theme decorations. My school is starting to decorate and the shop i buy food from are decorating as well. I hate Halloween and i never participate in it. But am i sinful if i shop in a place that is decorated? What about when i go to school? .

If one lies in front of me to some other person,is it obligatory for me to tell that other person he is lying?

If this will affect the other person or harm him, you must tell the truth and correct this lie! As in the case of he denies stealing something from him while you are certain and have proof that he did steal it.

Shiekh, was ayotallah khomenei a great leader? Is it okay if we read his books, take his ideas while still believing in Sunni islam? My dad says he was the greatest leader in the last century of the muslim world.

Sheikh, though I have no doubt that the blood of those Israeli settlers who publicly applaud the killing of Palestinians and support Israeli Army is halal, but what is the ruling regarding their women who do the same, harass our women and actively take part in “Death to Muslim” Procession?
