A boy is now in grade 10 Alhamdulillah, He had his first ejaculation in grade 6(a muslim becomes accountable on first ejaculation right?) Now this wrong idea that it is ok to eat suhur during adhan was continued in grade 6,7,8 and 9.Now in grade 6,7 and 8 Ali used to masturbate too, including in ramadhan. now Ali wants to make up these fasts broken by masturbation. As you see these overlap with the adhan dilemma.So does he have to make up these two years twice? In other words does making up these years for masturbation make up for the adhan dilemma also. I am sorry if it is hard to understand.

Assalaamu alaikum Once a day is broken, only one day is to be made up for it.

assalaamu’alaikum for someone who wants to avoid an area of difference of opinion between scholars regarding missed fasts and wants to feed each person for every obligatory fast she missed to be on the safe side, can she donate money that will be used to specifically to feed others or does she have to physically give them food,not just donate money even if it is only being used to feed people?

Wa alaikum salam wa rehmatAllah, As long as she is certain that poor Muslims will eat from that money and not be spent on other things, this is permissible.

For someone who wants to feed each person for every obligatory fast she missed to be on the safe side,it means feeding one poor person one meal?is how much to feed one poor person recommended?

Wa alaikum assalam, She is sinful for delaying it till this Ramadan without a legitimate reason. She must repent to Allah, ask Him for forgiveness and make them up as soon as possible.

Assalamo alaikumeihiekh If during ramadan we have to go through vaginal check up from the female doctor, does it break fast? or if the blood test is done during fasting does this too break fast? please guide

Assalaamu alaykum! My sisters non muslim friend is very interested in islam. She wants to fast in ramadan and learn how to pray. Can I teach her how to pray even though she’s not yet muslim but maybe in shaa Allaah will be? Do I have to teach her wudu also? She would like to come stay one day and night with us in ramadan, is that ok, she doesnt wear hijab and we live with parents and 1 brother?

Wa alaikum assalam, She shouldn’t come over when your father and brother are there as she is a non mahram. You can teach her how to perform wudhu and pray and fast but it is best to teach her about Tawheed and worshipping Allah.

I would leave for Sharjah (UAE) on 21st June from Jazan (KSA) @ 4PM. I wud b fasting. Q is: where to break the fast? Jazan Maghrib time wud b @ 6:55PM & Sharjah Maghrib wud b 7:20PM. But @ around 7 PM, I wud b in da flight. So shud I break my fast according 1.to Jazan time 2. or Sharjah time 3.or after reaching Sharjah 4. or in the flight?

Assalaamu alaikum if someone is making up years of missed obligatory fasting does he or she also need to pay the compensation for each fast missed? Also if they have not made up fasts that have gone for years does the compensation be accumulative? Because the compensation may be very big and unaffordable for some people.

Wa alaikum salam, There is no expiation for missing days of Ramadan unless it was due to intercourse.

Assalamualykum my friend’s mother died a few months ago,she never fasted during her old age due to sickness sometimes or due to tiredness. Is there any Fidya or kafara to be done on behalf of the dead mother by the children. Kindly advise as my friend is very worried now for the missed fasting of her dead mother. Jazak Allahu khair

Wa alaikum salam, If she was hoping to get better and fast, there is nothing on her. But if she was chronically ill and doctors said she will not recover and couldn’t fast, they should feed one poor person for every day missed.

Does the Current Situation of Muslims around the globe esp. in certain countries fits in the Ayah 214 of Ch.2 or previous generations suffered more than this? In this verse Allah says his help is nearer, what Islam says about despair of Allah’s help in all matters of life because without Allah’s help none can do anything? Jazak Allah khairun ,
