No, it is not obligatory especially when people are divided and wouldn’t come into common terms. It is not part of the pillars of Islam nor it is part of the pillars of Iman!

Is it correct not to accept ahad hadiths in matters of aqeedah as aqeedah is defined as “Aqeedah is that which is believed in with certainty or confidence, without possibility of doubt” And as ahad hadiths have single narrations there is some doubt and they are not 100% certain knowledge like muttawattir hadiths? Can you shed some light on this?

A’ahad hadeeth is accepted in matters of aqeedah if it is authentic.

On the occasion of Christmas my christian colleagues brings cake/sweets in the office from shop, is it ok to eat from it just for softening their heart, i found similar answer in the link below on your website, please clarify.

My question is, recently i have seen that a 30-episode-serial is available in YouTube, named “Umar Bin Khattab”. I saw all the episodes and absolutely loved it. I felt that it increased my iman, Alhamdulillah. But one thing bothered me all along: ‘is it ok to watch it as different actors were portraying sahabas like Umar (r.a),Abu Bakr(r.a)and many others?

Sheikh I want to study Financial engineering. My friends tell me there is alot of money in it. My question is, is it halal or haram? I don’t know much about Finance but do know that if one gets to be a financial engineer one gets to work with exchanges, hedge funds, trading algorithms, stock options and risk management. I don’t want to spend time studying this subject only to find out that 99 percent jobs in this field are haram.

This is not permissible.

A person is learning Arabic language in order to comprehend islam in a more better way which I believe would be considered as an ibadah but if that person does show off to people that he knows arabic, due to that intention of learning Arabic, this act has now become a worship,in this case, if he does show off to people that he knows arabic language, will it be riyaa which is minor shirk?

It would be sinful.

It’s custom in some countries to recite few verses of Holly Quaran before inaugurating any public meeting, projects etc ; Even in front of graveyard before starting dua’a by raising hands. Usually it’s common practice that an imam of local mosque leads these activities. Please throw some light in respect to Quaran and Sahih Hadith about this matter JK
