I want to know the Islamic view on Omar Mukhtar of Libya. Muslims, mostly, hold him in high esteem and want to be like him. Wasn’t he wrong Islamically when he did Khurooj? I heard he was of some Ibadee sect. Is he somebody we should look up to or he was one of Khawaarij? What is Islamic viewpoint on him and what he did. Please clarify.

if we miss fajar prayer then when we wake up shall we read 2 fard first and then 2 sunnah or we read normally 2 sunnah and then 2 fard..

My father has a property. he is alive but mentally unstable to make decisions due to the brain stroke he had. It was decided to divide the property to avoid the rift between the siblings. My question is what type of calculation we apply whilst both parents are alive & the property belongs to father. Children are 6 sons & 4 daughters.

Sheikh I’m getting married in 2 and a half weeks. My fiancé’s grandfather died 4 days ago. I know that mourning in Islam is only 3 days, would it be appropriate to continue with the Nikah? We had planned a segregated ceremony in a hall where food would be served. Should it be toned down – Nikah in the Masjid? My parents may lose the deposit on the hall.

There is an authentic hadeeth about a charity, which must be given every morning. Also the Prophet (pbuh) said that 2 rakaats of duha make up for this charity. I wanted to know, is this charity obligatory? Does it have to be done every morning?

These are some of the rights one must do for expressing his gratitude to Allah over the joints and health his body is in. There are different ways to express such gratitude and what combines and suffices for all is Duha prayer. This prayer is not mandatory.

Sheikh would it be sufficient to write on a nice card asking for forgiveness for using people’s items without permission and then also putting the value (money) of the items also in the card just incase they don’t want to forgive?
