Assalamu Alaikum wa rehmatAllah, You don’t know if he prays sometimes when you don’t see him or not! It is not to us to judge people over speculations! He may change himself after doing hajj this time. Pay for him if you can afford and try to advise him to make this a new start.

My mother met an accident. She would need a surgery. So, if I fast for her quick recovery,& her surgery shud b successful, is it permissible? and also, after surgery, if I wanna THANK Allah, can I fast? Plz advise.

This is disliked to do but if one made such a vow, he should fulfill his promises. We are limited and don’t know what is the best for us. But Allah knows.

If a woman forms the intention of making up an obligatory fast during night, goes to sleep and then wakes up after Fajr and decides not to fast (since she missed Suhr due to sleep and hence fasting would be difficult), would she be sinful?

Assalaammualaikum. Bro. I m correcting quran so in my salah I read bit louder while reciting surahbcoz if I recite in my lower sound I can’t correct my makharij .is this OK????

Wa alaikum salaam, I am assuming you’re male. This is permissible providing you are not annoying anyone in the room.

I have heard that if one smokes, drinks and or does drugs, their prayers and fast and ibadah will not be accepted until 40 days. How true is this? Can you please explain it in the light of a Saheeh hadeeth? JAZAK ALLAH KHAIR.

This is true but not for smoking. smoking is not intoxicating like the drugs or alcohol.

There is a message in circulation 90% meat supplied to fast food chains are Haraam and this Message(Fatwa) issued by Mufti Nana and Mufti Taqi Usmani(Deobandis), because of this message spreading like wild fire since few years people are getting panicked and questioning about the Halaal source in Saudi Arabia. Assalaamu alaikum, This is baseless and not true and such individuals have no credibility nor affiliation here in Saudi Arabia. I trust our Saudi officials responsible for guarding our boarders and ensuring that only acceptable products are imported. I personally eat from such restaurants without any hesitation. May Allaah guide us all!
