Asalaamu alaikum wa rahamatullahi wa barakaatuhu Is there any known wisdom behind the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم fasting Mondays and Wednesdays instead of the fast of Dawuud صلى الله عليه وسلم? Because the fast of Dawuud is said to be better.

Wa alaikum salam wa rehmatAllahi wa barakatuhu, He never fasted Wednesday! It was Monday and Thursday. He didn’t want to burden his Ummah.

Assalamu Aliakum Sheikh , my question is that I by the hidayah of Allah fast every Monday ,Thursday n also the white days of every month. What is the ruling for theses fast that I am observing n get my periods so should I break them on the spot or should I continue them until magrib time. I break the fast on the spot have I done sin if yes then how should I compensate it ? Pls guide me .

Wa alaikum salam wa rehmatAllah, You are doing a good deed and followingn the sunnah of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam. However, the moment you get your menses and see the flow of the blood, break your fast immediately.

Assalamualaikum , I fasted on 13th Rajab Alhamdulillah ..but it happened that I could not wake up for sehri on 14th Ayam al beed continuation of fasting which was also in Friday (today 14th Rajab in Bangladesh Dhaka) .What is the ruling of Ayam al beed ?Can I keep it on Sunday ?As I am planning to fast on Saturday (15th of Rajab )i.e tomorrow ?and then on Sunday to make up for Friday fasting? In Summary my query is on rulings of Ayam Al beed when a Muslim mistakenly missed any of three white days .

My husband has started a business by taking up loan to purchase new machines n he is physically wounded with his half foot amputed due to excess of smoking . I was against the loan but without my knowledge he went for loan n purchased the new machines he has to pay heavy interest on that loan . Can I give my zakat to him to clear td loan as it he i is also earning n paying the interest monthly .? Or should I give to some other needy relative ? Pls guide me .

Asslamwalekum shaik ..I try to fast the voluntary fasting. .but somtimes. My husband comes home from work early As he works like 14 To 16 hours some Times. .6 days a week. .I break my fast when he comes early. These days I don’t tell him Iam fasting because when. before I used to tell him Iam fasting he comes home late..as he works Hard. .I feel bad. he respects me. Please advise

many masajids in pakistan follow the hanafi school of law, which means that they say their prayer too fast such that you cannot complete your surah Fatiha in the 3rd & 4th rakah of the obligatory prayer behind the Imam. There is no masjid in the region, who pray at a moderate speed. What’s the solution? Given that dawah is given to them and it didn’t work, is it permissible to pray behind them?

Assalamu aliakum, My wifes parents baught a house with a interest bank loan a few years ago when they where not pracitising Muslims. They did not know it was Haram back then. They became religious later and now want to pay the house down so they can live Riba free. Can I help them pay the house down, so that they can pay back the house loan as fast as possible avoiding longer payment of riba?
