I am a freelancer and I am on my Computer most of the times working on various Brain-storming tasks. The balance of cash in my bank account increases and decreases each month. Eg: June 12000 ;July 10,000 ;August 11200; September 13,000. If I pay zakah on 10,000 which is balance I have held for whole year. In August 2016 will I need to pay zakah on 1200 (11200-10,000). Since I would have held it for one year. At my school/college i have some female teachers for my subjects so i usually say hello to them when i walk by. Also i say hello to my teachers who used to teach me before when i was younger because i don’t want to be rude. I do not think there is any fitnah as my teachers are usually much older. Is this permissable? Please clarify this topic of lowering the gaze for me.
