if zakah was given to a Syed family unknowingly and then we realize in the next year that they were Syed. Will that zakah for last year given to that Syed family be accepted or should we give that again?

I am a convert and have questions about my kafir family. 1.)My mum passed away 6years ago,I`m i premitted to visit her grave without praying or making duas?Can my husband come along as well as my support? 2.)I know that i can not pray for her forgiveness, but i`m I allowed to make dua to ease her pain&punishment? 3)Can I attend fathers funeral?can husband attend as my support?

sheikh I would like to know if I’m praying maghrib and I’m getting the last raka’ah(ie 3rd raka’at) with jama’at i notice many of the do not sit for tashahud for theit second raka’at is this the way. But the get tashahud two times. Pls enlighten .

This is totally wrong. The Rakah they prayed with the Imam was their first. After the prayer was over, they must stand for their second and third Rakah. This means they must sit in their second Rakah for tashahud and finally in their third Rakah.

A person had about a hundreed or more fasts pending for masturbating in ramdhan.He was unable to finish as he had O level exams this year.Is this a valid reason not to pay fidya for delaying fast.I know there is no strong evidence for fidyah,but I want to be on the safe side and pay if I have to.So please answer accordingly.Is my excuse of exams a valid excuse for delaying ramadhan fasts?

My uncle prays 5 times a day, all in the masjed, he fasts, he wakes up everyday for qiyam and recites Qur’an daily after fajar but he takes riba. My question is,Is it possible for him to be amongst those who Allah loves despite of dealing in riba? How else is he able to wake up for Tahajud and that also daily; I heard only Allah’s chosen ones get the opportunity.

No, this is not true. His RIBA is a major sin and these good deeds are something separate and different. The khawarij were described to us by our Prophet to be in great lengths of prayers and reciting the Quran. However, we are told that they are the hounds of hell-fire.

My husband’s brothers have slandered him and put some buhtan on him and also humiliated him in front of his children. Despite of all this, is it still compulsory on him to maintain kin? Or in this circumstance he can maintain distance from them due to their bad behavior with him.

He must honor kinship for the sake of Allah and not for him personally.

My grandfather never prayed, nor did he used to fast. My father tries to feed people on his behalf for the fasts he missed every ramadan. But prayer cannot be offered on his behalf. Is there any chance for him to go to Jannah? My grandmother also had a dream of him where he was in severe agony.

He is a Muslim as long as he didn’t confess of not praying nor it was proven that he didn’t pray at all. Therefore, only Allah knows what will happen to him.

i suffer from extreme ocd, i’ve got a halal job and ‘only’ sometimes i was not working as hard as i should have and was time wasting by going to the toilets, the money i was paid i bought clothes, was the money halal? will my prayer get accepted if i pray in these clothes, is repentance to ALLAH SWT sufficient? i have not got money to buy new clothes! these thoughts are making me weak and fed up!!

Can a man and a woman marry (nikah) each other in the absence of their parents even though the parents are ready and have agreed upon the marriage to take place in the future. I mean if the parents have agreed for their children to marry in the future then in that case can the man and the woman perform their nikah even if their parents are not present during the time of nikah?

Breaking fast while travelling due to weakness or dizzyness comes under excuse while travelling & one makes up for the day missed or have to expiate? Effect of medicines taken resulted in severe weakness & cramping in stomach forcing to break fast twice while travelling.

When traveling, one doesn’t have to be sick or weak to skip fasting. Traveling by itself is a sufficient excuse.
