Dealing with taxes and collecting it is one of the major sins in Islam.

As a woman, which pleases Allah SWT more? Raising a family? Or becoming a gynecologist in order to help the ummah (there is a rarity of female doctors so it will be using Allah’s gift to help fellow Muslims). Also if a man is very religious but he lives in America, would he be suitable since America is racist to Muslims and fitnah is everywhere (I live in Lebanon)?

If you can do both, this is a win win situation. However, studying medicine is full of haram such as free mixing and other things. I recommend that you get married and take care of your children and family. Going to USA and leaving your Muslim country is not a good idea at all.

Please can you tell me the ruling on consuming foods that contain spirit vinegar, white wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar,malt vinegar. These are found in most food as a preservative such as Sauces, pastas, sandwiches, readymade meals etc. And would be difficult to avoid eating.

ANSWER:

While praying I had the urge to laugh, and while trying to hold it, a noise escaped (loud enough for someone else to hear). I’m not sure if this noise was a laugh or if it came from trying to hold in a laugh. I started the prayer again, but I did not do wudu again. Is my prayer and wudu valid?

You did well by praying again. Your wudhu is not affected.

On the day of Walima or when one meet his friends after marriage. If they ask us if we had intercourse with our wife on first night. Is it permissible to tell them yes or no?

Please tell me if I say anything incorrect. I’m in America. I have enmity, hate and disavowel for every non muslim. What I’m confused about is al wala wal bara and what rights are to be given to the non muslims in regards to this doctrine. Also what about the hadith of pushing them to the edge of the road?Can we smile at a non Muslim? Be kind to them? Is this ever alowed? Or should we be rude?
