sheikh In my family there is a Nikah function on next friday Thursday night there will be a Mehndi function by bride’s Family Can I attend that function and eat that food ?? Is It permissible?

If this is a function that Muslims do and it is not an imitation of Hindus, this is permissible providing there is nothing haram being performed there.

He has no right in taking anything without your consent. Take your money and all of your gold and deposit it in a bank where he can’t access it.

sir, i have revert friends they dont know meanings of their names they say their parents made up hat name and they dont know if it has any meaning but they really want to keep it. So can they keep it sir??

No problem in keeping the names unless they contain any bad meaning. They should not change their father’s names though. It’s totally prohibited to be called after any name other than your father’s.

In a hadith of Abu Dawud which speaks of the causes of our destruction. It says loving the world and disliking death. Hubbut dunya wa karahiyatul mayt. What is the explanation of loving the world and hating death ? Does loving this dunya means doing haram things because of the love and leaving the obligatory things and being preoccupied with the dunya and disliking death in the way of Allah.

I have recently sold my bussiness for a big sum of money.zakaah for 2017 was paid in Ramadan.I usually give it in Ramadan. Question is …Is zakaah payable on that amount next Ramadan.someone said only payable if I have had it a full year.. Paying is no problem Just need clarity
