ANSWER: Video games are not haram to play in themselves. If played once in a while to relax, they are permissible providing they are clean, without music and if one doesn’t become addicted to them or leave the prayers or not pray them on time. ANSWER: This is a statement of kufr as it is disrespecting the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam.

If a person does acts of worship in a specific number only for the sake of organizing himself is it still bid’ah? Examples: I will memorize 5 ayaat after every salah, I will make dua for seeking knowledge 100 times. etc. There is no special value in these numbers. It is only for the purpose of organization.

ANSWER: One should not limit it to a specific number as if it is sunnah. Memorizing five ayah is ok.

The hadith that says that reciting Surah Baqarah makes the devil run away, does reciting ayatal kursi and last two ayat of Baqarah fall under that? or does one need to recite the entire surah baqarah everyday?

ANSWER: She’s not obliged to take a loan for going to hajj, she’s exempted from performing hajj if she doesn’t have the financial means. However, her hajj is valid.

I’m severely mentally upset about a fact that is, if I do not take medicine relying on Allah(swt) thinking that, if Allah wants only then the medicine will work. I’ve stopped going to doctors putting my trust in Allah(swt) that Insha’Allah He will cure me, I dont need to take medicine. Is it permissible in Islam? I will be waiting for your answer. Divine Will and Decree

ANSWER: This is not permissible, you must put your trust in Allah, and take the appropriate means, to get cured. You can’t sit home behind closed doors waiting for Allah to feed you without you going out and looking for food or cooking it!

I want to ask you something that is bothering me. I am from Bangladesh and A sheikh here said in a speech that women are the servants of their husband and they are obliged to be at their service 24/7. This thing is really really bothering me and making me re-consider my religion (astaghfirullah).
