This is baseless. Having a piece of cloth on your head has nothing to do with the validity of your wudu.

sheikh I have a great difficulty when I want to make wudu because I keep saying bismillah many times before starting to do wudu and when I start doing wudu I forget how many times I have done a particular action , once I finish my wudu with great difficulty I have a tough time before I say Allahu Akbar before beginning the prayer because I feel I have not said the intention.
