Please guide me regarding bid’a,Is bid’a not an unlegislated act in islam done with the intention to earn reward.how come celebrating marriage anniversary etc is a bid’a .no one seeks to get closer to Allaah or earn reward through these acts.I don’t celebrate any such events but if some one is to ask me this question,I don’t have an answer.

ANSWER: She should wear niqaab in front of non mahram. No problem in using concealer over acne but non mahram must not see it as it beautifies her.

There is a mosque close to my home where all kinds of bida’ti things happens (like: mawalid, dhikr that is not prescribed by rasulullah (S), and many more). But my mother told me that she made the intention to give 5000 taka to that masjid. Is it permissible to give sadakah to a mosque where people are praying but doing things that are far away from Islam??

ANSWER: This is not permissible as you would be facilitating and endorsing their innovations.

In prayer, if I finish my stipulated saying, do I remain quiet? For example :- in silent prayer or in silent rakahs, I finish reciting Surah Fatiha and another Surah, in 2nd rakah I finish my Tashahud, do I remain quiet after that?

ANSWER: You should not remain quiet. You can recite another short surah after reciting one surah after Fateha and durood in tashahud if the imam is late in saying the takbeer for the next position.

in the recent khatam al Quran that I have attended, the children who have completed took turn to recite a few surahs. After that the ladies committee members from a mosque recited surah al Fatihah, made dua and marhaban. Men were present and made dua lead by the main person from the ladies group. I have attended it on an invitation. What is the ruling on this?

sheikh is it haram to remove the middle of the eyebrows on top of the nose by cutting/shaving/plucking for men I have hair there and I ONLY REMOVE that portion of hair nothing else is this still haram as it’s not part of the eyebrows

I have come across some people using short forms for islamic greetings on whatsapp or email. For example they type Asak for Assalamualaikum. Is this allowed?
