QUESTION: I have convinced a Christian woman to accept Islam and she is ready for it, she was about to revert a day before Ramadan this year, now the problem is with fasting, I know that when she revert she is obliged to fast but her house will react bad and argue with her if they find out, she will revert secretly and by fasting she might expose herself and she has nowhere else to go. What can she do?

ANSWER: She must immediately take her shahadah and fast unless she fears for her safety and wellbeing If she happens to miss fasts, she will be sinful but her priority right now must be to revert to Islam

QUESTION: Is it sinful to play chess if the pieces resemble figures like a horse (knight) or a king with a cross, considering Islam forbids making or using statues?
