I was married few months ego.all my gold was given by my father n mother in law.but my husband didnt give me anything.now he is not in a condition to give zakat.so is it must for us to give zakat? I dont want to get burn in jahannam.how should we do?

ANSWER: If the gold is in your possession then you are obliged to give zakat by selling some of it.

I have committed sin and makes a lot of dua to Allah and ask for forgiveness. Now I never repeated such sin again after repentance and I believe Allah forgave me. Is it ok for a Muslim to have such a strong confidence in believing Allah that he has forgiven me?
