ANSWER: We make duaa all the time as per the ayah: 25:74 that Allah makes us Imams to the righteous However, it is not at all recommended to ask Allah to make you a ruler or a leader as this has a huge accountability to it.

QUESTION: What’s the ruling on a women who was fasting Ashura’ with the intention of getting the sins of the previous year forgiven but then she got her menses less than two hours before the maghrib azan, will she be among the people who receive forgiveness for their sins of the previous year like in the hadith?

ANSWER: The reward is granted with the grace of Allah due to her intention.

QUESTION: I joined a new company and asked whether I can to masjid for prayer and if not possible then arrange a room for me to pray. They said that they will arrange a room for me. Masjid is 9mins walk(time in Google maps). Is it wajib for me to go to masjid? I can go to masjid without them knowing.

ANSWER: If you can go then it’s best but if they don’t allow then it’s permissible to pray in your office especially if you are in a kafir country

ANSWER: You must make them up now as this a debt on you. There is no expiation needed. You can combine them to the Sunnah Fasts of Mondays and Thursdays for double the reward.

QUESTION: Sheikh there were a few instances when I did regular ghusl without being in state of major impurity and prayed my fard salahs. I did not know that doing such regular ghusl does not substitute for wudu. I don’t even remember which prayers these were as it was years ago, how can I rectify ?
