Sheikh, i have been sincere in my duas, salah, quran, adhkars and fasting.Im exhausted. I cant do anymore. Im trying the best i can to resist the temptations including getting rid of phones but still i do it. After all these years i expected a little bit of help. I have money and my wife has gold.money exceed jakat nisab,but total gold does not,Does i need to give jakat on money +gold,or only money? I only gave zakat on money not the gold,because gold quantity does not exceed nisab.do i need to sum them all and give jakat on it.

ANSWER: The zakat is only on the cash for you. Your wife’s gold is her property and if it does not reach the nisab, there’s no zakat on it for her.

I have missed many prayers when i was young (reached puberty) as my parents never told me that i was sinful. Now i pray all my prayers Alhamdulillah. What can i do now about the missed prayers?

ANSWER: There’s nothing you can do about that except repent sincerely to Allah while showing deep remorse and pray a lot of voluntary prayers, especially night prayers in order to try and compensate. Do other voluntary good deeds besides never missing the obligatory acts of worship.
