ANSWER: No, because this doesn’t make sense. We do wudu to lift minor impurity but when a person is already in major impurity, how does lifting minor impurity make any difference. Hence making wudu in menstruation is not permissible and an innovation.

If a couple wants to pray swalat together at home how should it be done,if the husband leads the prayer the wife needs to give the iqamah before starting? Can the husband lead the swalaat only with her wife behind?

It was narrated that Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Du’a is not rejected between the adhan and iqamah, so engage in du’a (supplication).” For men its understood as per the masjids iqamat but what is the time span fo women in this regard. Is it same as per local masjids or their personal salah?
