The question is according to Sharia for how much time a husband can live far from her wife if he works somewhere else.Here some scholars say that he can not live more than 40 days some say 4 months and if they donot have intercourse in that period the marriage is nullified automatically.Please explain acc.to Sharia.

ANSWER: There is no limit for such conditions and the marriage does not get nullified in such a way until they divorce each other. Out of necessity he can stay far from his wife as long as there is mutual consent.

I live in USA. We have some muslim brothers doing real estate business. They buy land or old houses and then built new homes and sell them . They have some investment options where if i give them some money they will give me a profit ranging from 25-27% but not fix after 1 year. ANSWER: You should shorten your prayers in the hotel. In congregation, follow the Imam. You should not pray the Sunnah of dhuhr, Maghrib and isha as Prophet ﷺ used to skip these while traveling. Other than that, you can pray as many voluntary prayers as you want.

Is it permissible to give ZAKAAT to people/relatives of deviant sects in India like Deobandis, Bareillvis etc because they constitute approx.80-90% of Muslims? Most of these people, they are involved in innovations which dont take them outside folds of Islam.

ANSWER: Some of them have kufr beliefs that may take them out of the fold of Islam. Therefore, if you know that they are Muslims and do not nullify their Islam, you can give them from zakat.

I live in my mother’s house and recently wed, my husband lives on the opposite coast but will be moving here soon Insha’Allah and into my mom’s house with me. She will still be the owner of the house and main provider even when he gets a job here so I was wondering would I need to get his permission whenever I leave the house?

My brother has given me some clothes of his that he doesn’t need anymore but I know the money he bought them with was earned by haraam income. Is it permissible to wear these clothes whilst praying salah?
