ANSWER: The question is not clear! If the stocks are halal and not dealing with riba or financing through riba and you are trading with your own money without going into options or hedging or similar financial tools that are based on ambiguity, gambling or the likes, this seems permissible.

ANSWER: This is permissible but it is not from the sunnah as the sunnah is to say assalamu alaikum when leaving. No problem in combining both.

QUESTION: If me and my wife travel far enough to become considered travellers, once we reach our destination do I still need to accompany her as a mahram if she commutes around the town or only when she needs to travel again? For example we leave from London to Birmingham, can she commute around Birmingham without me as mahram while we are there?

ANSWER: This is not permissible as there’s no pleasing or obedience to anyone at the cost of displeasing and disobedience to Allah! Let them fight few times and after that they will calm down and accept that you don’t participate in such innovations.

QUESTION: My mother has severe paranoia and psychosis, forbidding and constantly fearing us from once Jumu‘ah, phones, going out or opening doors due to delusions. Refusing causes violent screaming. ANSWER: There is no pleasing or obedience to anyone at the cost of displeasing and disobedience to Allah. You must not obey her if she is stopping you from your religious duties.

ANSWER: Of course not ! You must repent to Allah while showing deep remorse and sincerity for having anything to do with her in the first place as there are no such thing as a platonic relationship. You must break off all communication with her and move on, minding your own business.
