QUESTION:I am a Muslim student in France.Because of the strict French secularism rules,it is completely forbidden to perform Salah inside schools,or any public educational buildings.If we are caught praying secretely,we face severe disciplinary actions such as fines or temporary or total exclusion (if repeated).Can I pray in a locked toilet closet or combine 2 prayers?

ANSWER: If the situation is as severe as you describe, you can pray in the toilet! However, till when Muslims are going to be this humiliated and looked down at? One must announce his religion or migrate to a country where he can practice Islam freely!

QUESTION: Is it permissible to earn a fixed fee for referring people to conventional wealth managers, knowing their money will likely be invested in riba-based products? I would not advise, manage, or receive a percentage. Does knowing the likely outcome make my referral impermissible? Does my role resemble the scribe/witness condemned in the riba hadith?

ANSWER: If he invests in haram then you are sinful for such referrals and your income is haram as well! It is like directing people to where the bar or nightclub is and claiming that you don’t drink or party!

QUESTION: I was assigned by my Fajr group to wake others up for Fajr and to confirm by writing ‘done’ afterward. However, if I miss Fajr myself, I fail to write ‘done,” which makes others realize that I missed the prayer. Is this considered an indirect disclosure of my sin, and would it be haram?

QUESTION: My aunt is 75+ she feels very very cold in winter, Gas doesn’t come in morning hours in her house so she can heat water. can she do Tayyamum for fajr only?

ANSWER: This is between her & Allah, if she can’t heat water at all & she would get sick if she used cold water then she can make tayammum and Allah is her judge.

QUESTION: I am gonna live in a hostel from next month onwards for my engineering degree. But the hostel is in a very remote region and there is no mosque nearby, upto 10km. What’s the best solution for me to pray namaz ??

ANSWER: If you have other Muslim brothers in the hostel, you guys should hold congregation and pray, if its not possible then you can pray all the prayers on time by yourself.

ANSWER: If you are complaining to get advice & to get the issue resolved then this is not backbiting and you are not sinful for that.

QUESTION: My husband became bankrupt. He wants to safe his assets so he is transferring everything on my name. Regarding will, I want to make Sharia will, does it unfair with my husband? Or if I make civil will if I pass away would it change to Sharia? What if someone transferred or give everything in his life, would be still distribute his assets as a Sharia law after death?

ANSWER: If he only transferred due to legal issues & all his heirs know about this then you do not own that property or assets and after his death all his heirs (including you) would get their Shariah shares.

ANSWER: It is not permissible to be addicted in such a fashion as it is not medically safe and it would make you unable to fast or behave normally. Anything that exceeds the limits is haram.

QUESTION: I followed ur Sunnah prayer vids thinking ppl here prayed wrong, but realized it’s a Madhab diff. I’m Hanafi, where 4 Sunnah b4 Fard is prayed together, while u advise 2+2. Can I follow ur method & remain Hanafi? Is following diff Madhabs okay?
