ANSWER: It is allowed to sacrifice the animal from 10th of Dhul hijjah till maghrib of 13th of Dhul hijjah.

We are visiting my sister’s home where my parent’s live also and she has daughters. If my son is never left alone with his female cousins and he doesn’t participate in anything more than basic pleasantries can he sit and eat with everyone on Eid or should he spend Eid alone.

ANSWER: This is not compulsory. However, this is highly recommended as Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam said the 2 rakahs before fajr are better than the whole world and what it contains.

As a student of knowledge, I sometimes need to write Ayat of the Quran in my notes. Reading the Quran is not permissible when Junub, but what about writing them or typing them on my laptop?

A few weeks ago I used nail buffers(both sides) my nails are not shiny anymore, but are still smooth (indicating the effects of it still hasn’t worn off). My question is: do nail buffers prevent water from reaching the nails? If so, will prayers not be accepted? What should I do now since there is no way to reverse it?
