Is it allowed for me to change my children’s fathers name as their middle names and put my maiden name down as their surnames? My husband keeps travelling to bahrain from dammam for business purposes. Supposing he goes in mrng and he prays qasr dhuhr n asr by the time he reaches bak to Dammam its asr time , will he hav 2 pray asr again or will the qasr prayer be valid? If yes will it b same for maghrib amd isha ?

ANSWER: As long as he prayed it while he was a traveler, there is no need to pray it again even if he reaches back home before asr time.

There is a Mosque in our area which is called as PETER MOSQUE. On inquiring, I found that it is funded 100% by a Christian Priest. He got the construction done, furnishing etc. He even appointed the Imam & the Muezzin also. This priest is also taking care of monthly expenses as well Q is: Can v pray in such a Mosque?

ANSWER: Are you sure he is not a Muslim? Why would a Christian priest do such a thing? Anyhow, there is nothing wrong in praying in such a masjid but the muslims must take care of running it.

A friend of mine lives in a Christian dominant society. He’s a practicing Muslim, but everytime there’s a Christmas/Easter Discount on products, he avails that. As these events are associated with Shirk, is it permissible for him to do this?
