ANSWER:

It is not permissible to make an independent sajda to make dua or to ask for forgiveness as it’s an innovation. You can pray 2 rakah for repentance. 

You can ask for forgiveness in your sujood of salah and in the last tashahud before making Salam. 

You can even raise your hands and ask for forgiveness during times of acceptance of dua. 

HOW TO MAKE THE BEST TAWBAH?SHOULD WE DO IT IN SUJOOD OR BY RAISING OUR HAND??CAN YOU PLEASE BRIEFLY EXPLAIN IT
