ANSWER: If the son did not do anything to deserve it, the curse won’t affect him.

My parents are getting old and my brother doesnt want to look after them so me being the only girl of the family, can i refuse to get married because of responsibility to take care of my parents?

ANSWER: This is a collective duty upon all your siblings and not on only one of them.

My husband loves to see me in makeup. I have quite few cosmetics which are expensive. But i brought them from my own money as im a working woman. Though my husband likes me in makeup, he doesnt restrict me from wearning them but tells that buying such things are waste of money and i will be held accountable for every penny i spend. What do i do?

ANSWER: Ignore what he is saying as he is ignorant! What a woman pays for her makeup and beauty material is permissible as she is permitted to beautify herself for her husband and other women.

I was in congregation yst for my asar prayers, a brother beside me suddenly collapsed fearing the worst I interrupted my salah and went to his aid with another brother who did the same by the time he regained consciousness the congregational prayers had finished and I redid my asar alone. After my prayers I was approached by a elderly person and ticked off for gg to his aid inbetween my prayer

ANSWER: What you did was obligatory upon you if there was no one else to help him. You did the right thing but you should have prayed it with the other person in congregation who also interrupted his prayer.

I made taawba that I wouldnt miss my fajr salah again and that as soon as I either hear my alarm ring or that somebody wakes me up I wont fall back asleep until Ive prayed but I do fall back asleep and get up and pray my fajr a little later but within the time, am I sinful? do I have to offer expation?

ANSWER: As long as you pray it before sunrise, your prayer is valid. As for whether you are sinful or not, this depends on whether you could have gotten up but chose not to or you were unable to get up. Allah is your judge.

Sometimes when making wudu the adhan is called or I know the adhan will be called so do I first reply then make wudu or we can make wudu and reply as magrib is like 4 min after adhan and it’s a hassle and is it sunnah to make any type of dua while making wudu or is it permissible to make dua?

ANSWER: No problem in replying to the athan while making wudu.

Where I’m from, some scholars say hair extensions are allowed so long as it’s not human hair or looks like your hair e.g horse hair so things like wool,Brazilian wool or thread are allowed.Some say it is allowed so long as it doesn’t exceed your natural hair length and others say It’s completely prohibited. A lot of us braid as protective styling. Please clarify.

On observation, i feel i have always been on trial by Allah. Now im so done with my difficulties i feel there is no use of making dua to Allah since he has never given any happiness in my life so far.
