ANSWER: You must not participate with them in any celebration like this. If you are at your desk and doing your job, there is no sin on you in Sha Allah. Avoid any gathering with them that contains haram.

QUESTION: If my mother or wife for example is willing to give up some of her inheritance can I distribute it more equally? For example at the moment my mother would get 3/4 and wife 1/4 if we have no children. If my mum is ok with it can I write it as 50-50 for each or if for example my mother was so wealthy she needs nothing could i write 100% for my wife? Or is it stil haram?
