ANSWER: No problem. However, if they are junoob (major sexual impurity), its not permissible to recite the Quran.

QUESTION: If a person is kdnpped, and he is t*ed to chair. No chance to make wudu and pray, nor clean his najasa properly..how should he complete his prayer?

ANSWER: He must pray while sitting down with movements of his eyes if he cannot move at all and even without wudu due to necessity.

QUESTION: Does the following Hadith even include those who have haram money, since there dua is not accepted? Whoever recites this with conviction in the evening and dies during that night shall enter Paradise, and whoever recites it with conviction in the morning and dies during that day shall enter Paradise, Al-Bukhari 7/150.

ANSWER: This applies to all but this doesn’t mean that they will enter paradise without accountability. They may have to spend few years in hell until they are cleansed from their sins and then admitted to paradise.

QUESTION: I am 18. I want to fast on these days but my mother is not allowing me to fast since I have to study but I am sure I can manage both studies and at the same time time fast. I tried to convince her alot but she says not to fast since they are not farz and listen to her. should I listen to my mother in this matter ? if yes will i not miss the reward of these fasts

ANSWER: If your health is fine, you are not obliged to obey her providing your voluntary fasting is not hindering in fulfilling your duties towards your parents.

QUESTION: How to ensure firm faith in dua. As in sometimes when I make dua I get a thought or somewhere in my heart I feel as if I’m not worthy to be asking this much. Or why would Allah think I deserve all of this. It makes me think that my dua is weak because of such thoughts. I want to make dua with surity that Allah will grant my prayers. How do I make sure my heart is firm & avoid these thoughts?

ANSWER: You must have the belief that Allah is able to answer your duaa, and if He treats us according to our deeds then we will be destroyed, but Allah is the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate.

QUESTION: I saw a person raise his hands and make dua himself individually during Friday khutbah.I mean imam is giving khutbah and he is not listening to it and making dua himself..is it permissible?

ANSWER: It’s totally prohibited for you to obey her in this regard! She has no right, none whatsoever to order you to divorce your wife unless your wife is not a decent practicing woman or she is evil and immodest.

QUESTION: Sheikh after tashahhud can I make dua in own language after 2 rakah in asr prayer

ANSWER: No. The time for making dua is in your last tashahhud, before making salam unless the imam prolongs sitting and you don’t have anything else to say.

QUESTION: I read one of ur answer that u get more reward if u delay isha and pray close to midnight & we know hadith that if u know what reward isha and fajr congregation has u will come crawling so shall we delay isha or pray in congregation?

ANSWER: It’s mandatory for men to pray in congregation at the masjid. This is for women who pray at home or for someone who cannot attend masjid due to a valid reason.
