In an answer to a question you told that one can perform ruqya on himself to cure illness. I recently fell and hurt my leg, about a month ago. The pain hasn’t gone away. So, can I perform ruqya and wipe my hands over the parts that hurt me?

I have a muslim friend who does drugs and alcohol. Should I stay with her for the sake of guiding her or abandon her because of the gravity of what she’s doing ? Should I meet her at all?

You must not be with her at all when she is doing it or when intoxicated. If you see her to advise her when she is sober and alert, this is permissible. If this doesn’t do her any good, cut her off and leave her as she is bad news.

I wanted to know about the reward for miscarriage if one is being patient over it… Is it somewhere near to the reward of loosing one’s children and being patient at that?

I am turning 30 and my parents have refused every suitor I bring home for the past 4 years because he is not the same tribe as me and sworn my marriage will never work out and will have an unpeaceful home if married to another man outside our tribe even if he is dead. Please advice me according to sunnah , would I be wrong if I go ahead and get married without their blessings ?

People say that you can forgive people and then its up to you if you want to know them or have relationship with them. You’ve forgiven them and its enough because the prophet (saw) forgave Hind but till the end he did not look at her even once because of what she did to his uncle Hamza (ra) by getting him killed and taking his heart out. No problem in asking such a profit as long as one acquires the item and owns it.

In our area we have madarasah where we use to teach quraan to children in that place we use to conduct islamic lecture for ladies at every saturday after maghrib, now we planned to keep jumu’ah salah for ladies in that madarasah where we will not conduct five times of salah, Is it permissible to conduct jumu’ah salah like this? (first two row gents will be there)
