ANSWER: Men can pray even with sleeveless shirts. Women on the other hands must not and can’t expose more than the hand to their wrists. Anything over that would render the prayer invalid.

QUESTION: I heard from a scholar online saying that there is infinite barakah in covered food that Aysha (RA) were eating from covered packet of dates without seeing them one day she just thought I have been eating these dates more than month lets just check how many are left there.The Prophet (SAW) said that If you did not check you would have eating those dates till Qiyama.Is this hadith authentic?

QUESTION: The Hadith that says the one who gives ghusl to a dead body and doesn’t reveal any abnormality in it, will be forgiven 40 times. Does it refer to 40 major sins? If not, is there any amal (action) that erases major sins apart from sincere tawba? Any action we can do to erase major sins?

QUESTION: I read from an islamic page about polygamy. from the perspective that the Lawgiver has enjoined it, then what we must do is be content and happy with it. I don’t want my husband to marry second time and make dua for it just it’s my desire or wish I am not stopping him physically this implies I am not content and happy with polygamy Or not?

QUESTION: I know it is makruh to divorce your wife for no reason. But what should our attitude be towards people who do this, especially those who divorce their wives simply to cause them as much pain and aguish as possible?

ANSWER: Initially, one must not poke his nose in other people’s business! You don’t know what goes behind closed doors and who is right and who is wrong. Those who divorce without a valid reason are sinful and will be held accountable for it in front of Allah but the divorce would be valid

QUESTION: I am a government school teacher in india, here no one follows government timing of schools(Govt time 9.00 am to 3.25 pm) even students do not want to stay as long as 3.25 pm, All the teaching staff leave school at 1 or 2 p.m. Especially in rainy seasons when roads are slippery. QUESTION: In dhuhr prayer,I joined when imam said samiallah huliman hamida of 2nd rakat.I continued with the 2 sujoods and tashahhud.Then the imam got up for his 3rd rakat.Since this 2nd rakat of imam will not be counted as my 1st,do I do raful yadain when he stands up for his 3rd rakat which will be my 1st rakat or should i do it when he finishes his salah and i standup for my 3rd rakat?

ANSWER: You should raise your hands when the imam stands for his 3rd rakah as this is the sunnah regardless of which rakah it is actually yours.
