ANSWER: Remind him that the hardest prayers for hypocrites as the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had told us is Fajr and Isha prayer! If he is fine in being a hypocrite, there is no problem in that!

QUESTION: I’m in my 40s and have sincerely tried to marry, choosing religious and stable suitors. My only wali, my father, rejects them because he discourages my sunnah lifestyle. He’s not fully practicing, and I fear falling into sin. ANSWER: If he has blocked many good suitors, you can bypass him and your wali would be your paternal grandfather or your brother or your paternal uncle in this very order.

ANSWER: This is not permissible as its a major sin that whoever does it is cursed by Allah You can bleach the excess hair if you wish but you must conceal it in front of non mahram men and while going out.

QUESTION: A muslim is travelling by train and has to pray in the train. He has two choices: pray standing but not facing qibla or pray sitting down and facing the qibla. Which one should he choose?

ANSWER: He must face the qibla in fard prayers and he must pray standing up as this is a pillar. However, if he is unable to do both and has to choose one, I would select facing the qibla and Allah knows best.

QUESTION: If there is a lot of lightning strike outside, what is the ruling on going to the mosque? Recently, there has been intense thunder around Fajr time frequently. Should I go to the mosque or pray at home?

QUESTION: I heard washing private part isn’t condition of ghusl, if I don’t pass waste so don’t wash the private part and do ghusl, is it ok? Because then how would the whole body be washed as the whole body needs to be washed for ghusl.

ANSWER: You must ensure that the water reaches all body parts for the Ghusl to be valid, including your private parts whether you had answered the call of nature or not!
