I dont know what this is. Generaly speaking hitting the face is not permissible. Learning martial arts for self defense is permissible as long as there is no bowing or things against islam

I am finding no interest in studying biology, maths and english. And I want to study Islam, but my parents want me to study the worldly science because there is a idea in the subcontinent that the scholars are usually poor and cannot earn much. I have not talked to them about these things, because they want me to become pilot,doctor etc.What should I do ? You know the situation of the subcontinen

There is no contradiction , you can study Islam and another major to please your parents. Besides, as long as they are paying, you must obey them.

Someone told me that presence of small hairs that were cut from beard and then got into the oily sticky skin of head by comb etc, prevent wudu and ghusl if not removed. He said that since it is impermissible to cut the beard, therefore, those hairs of beard becoming an obstacle to water will not be excused. Please clarify this matter.
