I want to make tauba for the sins I make and most of the times I fulfill all the requirements (Alhamdulillah) for tauba except that I do not feel remorse on the sins that I already made. How long should the duration of tauba should be?

I’m having a problem which I dont know how to solve. I got a phone call yesterday informing me about my mother winning a prize in lottery. As far as I know, lottery is not accepted in Islam. So, my question is should I inform my mother about this? And they also told me to collect the prize, my mother would have to show my phone to them. So, should I give her my phone?
