Alhumdulillah I recently became a Muslim. I started asking about the major sins. I am aware that drinking, unlawful intercourse and shirk are some of the major sins. In regards to unlawful intercourse I learnt that 4 witnesses are required. What if 4 witnesses are available can the man accused confess ? Please pray that my past as non-muslim are forgiven.

ANSWER: Minor sins can be forgiven by avoiding major sins, by performing one Wudu to the next Wudu, from one Ramadan to the next and even while you perform prayer, some of your sins are placed on your head and shoulders and fall off with every ruku & sujood.

I found that if you love someone or something more than Allah then that is shirk. I thought about it and a thought came to my mind. When we sin don’t we love the sin more than Allah because if we had loves Allah more we wouldn’t have sinned?

ANSWER: No! People don’t love sin more than Allah! They are weak and sinful and this has nothing to do with not loving Allah.

My question is as we are in India and to buy property we have to take loan to avoid paying taxes. But there are some Muslims who know that the work which they are allowing is harmful and might be harmful to people. But they take bribe and clear the tender Which is more sinful Loan with Interest or Bribe

ANSWER: You cannot compare sins like this. Both are heinous sins for which the person is cursed by Allah as both are major sins!

Do we receive sin for jariyah sin only each time the person whom we inspire/guide to a sin do that sin, or even if that person dont do that sin anymore we still get continous sin as long as we havent told him to not follow what we ever taught/give to him?

ANSWER: Each time the person acts on your misguidance, you are accountable.

During my non- practising days i committed many sins including major and minor shirks , i repented and changed my way. But do i have to repent everytime i remember a sin i used to do earlier cause when i remember one sin the list won’t stop, is only repenting one time from all the previous sin enough?

ANSWER: Whenever you remember your sins you must ask for forgiveness if you really want yourself to be forgiven by The Almighty.

Shaykh when ever i realise that i did a sin then i feel sad i almost cry but my sadness is not like a norman person i feel very worried about myself that i did a sin and i start to cry, why does this happen can you please explain shaykh

ANSWER: This shows your remorse, which is a good sign. However you must not let this sadness cripple your other acts of worship or your normal day to day responsibilities.

ANSWER: This not a legitimate reason as people who drink whisky justify it that it prevents them from doing heroin and those who fornicate justify it because it prevents them from sodomy!

I don’t remember which movie I suggest to someone,but if i say some of my friends that whatver movie i suggested i don’t remember but plz don’t watch any movie,as once i suggested u movie so now i am suggesting u to stop movie ‘ If I say that then even if they don’t stop watching movie will i still get the sin of Everytime she watches my suggested movie?

ANSWER: If you repented to Allah, shown sincere remorse and warned all people whom you told or showed them before how to sin about the prohibition and dangers of such sins, Allah will forgive you in Sha Allah.
