QUESTION: I converted 4 years ago, and prior to that i had hurt alot of people and insulted people. When i converted, I completely left my old life behind, and am nit in touch with anyone from my past life. Am i held accountable for my actions prior? ANSWER: This is not true! One is ashamed of sinning in front of others as we are ordered to conceal our sins in front of people. As for sinning between us and allah, this is human weakness and May Allah forgive our shortcomings.
