Maghfirah is to protect an individual from the punishment. Al A’afu is to pardon him even from blaming, let alone punishment.

I threw a broken VCD which has a Quran in it, but I have completely forgotten that it had Quran in it. I don’t know what to say, how can I erase my sin?

It is not a sin.

If someone on facebook has posted a racist/hate message about Islam or Muslims, Is it permissible to notify their employer by sending them evidence of it?, which could result in them losing their job?, We are to forgive & show mercy, but by doing this could this cause more problems, as if the person loses their job they may get revenge by attacking Muslims?

If he openly attacks Islam, report him to the authorities or his employer and let him get his punishment for his evil deeds! He is an enemy of Muslims and we shouldn’t care about his job!

An employer found out that his worker has been stealing money from his business for some time. Though he has not caught him red handed, the overwhelming circumstantial evidences leaves no doubt at all about the thefts. However the worker stubbornly refused to admit his wrongdoing. What is the Islamic ruling if the employer straightaway cut the wages of the worker to cover his loss due to the theft as it would not be worth the trouble to bring the case to the court ?

If he doesn’t have evidences that incriminate him, these are only speculations and he has no right in being the victim, the prosecutor, the judge and the executioner.

Is shaking hands with a non Mahram considered a minor sin or major sin since it is not done for sexual desire? But I understand that this is haram.

I was sad due to waswas and sins. My grandma asked about my worries and I shouted in anger and sad about waswas. She told we are reciting Qur’an, Dhikr and doing good things to recover from it. I shouted at her again, hen what is the change?After sometime I understood what I said and corrected myself. But is this saying “What is the change after these good things” have a bad meaning about the power of Qur’an? Will it affect my Iman?

If it was said unintentionally, this is forgiven.

I have a problem with my wealth. I can’t buy food with it as it gives me serious injuries as a result of a major sin I committed. I can’t get a job because of this situation and am housebound. What would you do brother to rectify this situation? I try to repent sincerely but can’t as my eemaan is low.
